About Us

Bright ideas for everyday life

Random Lemon began in a much more personal way than I ever expected.

After losing my mum, I started making things as a way to help manage my grief. Having something creative to focus on gave me a little space to switch off, process things in my own way, and make something tangible at a time when life felt anything but straightforward.

What surprised me most was how much I enjoyed seeing other people smile at the things I made.

That became a big part of why I kept going.

Over time, what started as a creative outlet grew into Random Lemon — a small independent business built around original stationery, colouring books, gifts and handcrafted pieces with a bit of personality.

For the past couple of years, I’ve been selling at craft stalls, meeting customers face to face and learning which products make people stop, laugh, pick something up, or come back for more.

Moving Random Lemon online feels like the next step: a way to grow the business, reach more people and build something sustainable around the creativity that helped me in the first place.

Designed and handcrafted with care

Moving into the online space I've decided to mix the handmade with some professionally printed items to allow me to grow the business in a sustainable way. Therefore, some products, such as colouring books and stationery, are designed by Random Lemon and professionally produced.

Others — including selected journals and crystal jewellery — are made by hand in small batches to retain the character, personal touch and creativity that Random Lemon was founded on.

Whether something is designed or handcrafted, the aim is the same: to create products that feel useful, cheerful, creative and just a little bit different.

Some are practical. Some are beautiful. Some are slightly ridiculous.

There’s room for all three.

The next chapter: CRAFT

Random Lemon is also developing CRAFT — Creative Regulation And Focus Tools, a new psychology-informed creative wellbeing range.

CRAFT brings together two important parts of my life: my background in psychology and my own experience of using creativity during difficult times. I became interested in how creative activities can give us something absorbing and purposeful to focus on — not because they need to produce a perfect result, but because the process of making can be valuable in itself.

CRAFT will build on that idea through accessible creative kits designed to encourage focus, enjoyment and time away from everyday demands.

There’s no pressure to be “good at crafts” and no complicated rules. The aim is simply to give you everything you need to sit down, make something and enjoy the process.

CRAFT is coming soon.

Thank you for supporting Random Lemon — whether you’ve bought something from my craft stall, discovered the brand online, or are just here having a look. Every order helps this small idea keep growing.
